    Hello dear followers!🤗 We're back with more recommendations. This time the trope we've chosen is "I hate everyone but you". At first we thought we wouldn't have much material for this trope and we were about to give up, but after 5 minutes of brainstorming, we realised that is actually more common than we thought. The trope is just disguised or mixed up with others such as: enemies to lovers, grumpy x sunshine, among others.

    This trope usually explores the duality of personalities between a couple. This personality difference usually translates into some conflict, but there are also elements in which the "darker" character is influenced by the more energetic spirit of the one they're in love with. If you want to know our recommendations, keep on reading, but beware that some of them may not have a happy ending for the couple. To avoid spoilers, in some cases we won't tell you who the couples are so that those who have never read these books can enjoy the story in its entirety 😘.

    🥺 Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo - our heroine is Alina Starkov, a girl who grew up in Ravka, in an orphanage with her best friend, Mal. In this universe, there are powerful people, known as Grisha, capable of controling incredible power,s that can appear anywhere. All children are tested to see if they will become Grisha. Alina was tested and recognised as normal and now belongs to the army's cartography unit. During a mission to cross the Shadow Fold, a strip of darkness that divides Ravka in two, Mal is attacked and in a desperate attempt to defend him, Alina discovers that she has a rare magical power that could save Ravka and destroy the Fold.

    🥺 Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo - the story centres on Kaz Breeker, a criminal who leads one of the most dangerous gangs in Ketterdam. With a new drug that increases the Grisha's powers circulating on the streets, everyone is interested in the scientist responsible for this invention. A team made up of Kaz and five other people with a wide variety of talents is preparing to rescue the scientist imprisoned in Fjerda, a high-security prison.

    🥺 Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead** - our main characters are Rose Hathaway, a Dhampir, and her best friend Lissa Dragomir, a princess and Moroi vampire. The Dhampirs' job is to protect the Moroi from a third species of vampire, the Strigoi. Rose and Lissa have been on the run for two years, ever since they realised they weren't safe at St Vladimir's Academy, but their luck runs out and they are caught and taken back despite their protests. Things haven't changed that much at the academy and Rose is trying to find out who chased them and whether they might still be waiting for the right moment to strike.

    🥺 The Hating Game by Sally Thorne - in this novel Lucy and Josh, two assistants working for the co-CEOs of a publishing house, embody the grumpy x sunshine category from head to toe. Their days are spent competing with each other and playing ridiculous games to see who gives in to the pressure first. There is always some competition between the employees of each of the publishing houses, but Josh and Lucy take it to the next level on a daily basis. And things are only going to get worse because someone is going to be promoted and neither can stand the idea of the other being their superior. However, the bickering takes on a different path and emotions begin to run high, showing that an attraction is flowing between the two. 

    🥺 Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover - this novel follows the relationship between Tate, a nurse who lives with her brother Corbin in San Francisco, and Miles, a pilot who lives in the same building. Although they don't have the best first interaction, Miles and Corbin are friends and Tate ends up crossing paths with him continuously and gradually attraction manifests itself. But Miles isn't interested in a relationship and Tate also says she's focused on her career, so they agree to have a purely physical relationship, without involving their emotions. Miles is very secretive and doesn't reveal anything about his past, and Tate isn't managing to keep the relationship with no strings attached.

    🥺 Written in Red by Anne Bishop - In this universe, there is a species known as the Others who dominate the earth. These creatures possess supernatural strength and powers and don't hesitate to hunt down humans when they want to. Our protagonists are Meg, a blood prophetess, someone who has a vision of the future every time a cut is made in her skin, and Simon, a shapeshifter who agrees to hire Meg to work for him when she manages to escape those who imprisoned her. Simon doesn't understand why he agreed to hire Meg when he senses that something about her isn't normal. However, when he discovers what she is, he has to make a decision: keep Meg under his protection or turn her in and keep the rest of his kind safe.

    Olá queridos seguidores!🤗 Estamos de volta com mais recomendações. Desta vez a categoria que escolhemos é "odeio toda gente menos tu". No início achamos que não íamos ter muito material para esta categoria e estávamos quase a desistir, mas após 5 minutos de brainstorming, percebemos que na realidade esta categoria é mais comum do que aquilo que pensávamos. A categoria está só disfarçada ou misturada com outras como enemies to lovers, grumpy x sunshine, entre outras.

    Normalmente esta categoria explora a dualidade de personalidades entre um casal. Esta diferença de personalidade tem por hábito traduzir-se em algum conflito, mas também tem elementos em que a personagem mais "sombria" é influenciada pela energia mais animada daquele por quem está apaixonado. Se quiserem saber as nossas recomendações, continuem a ler, mas cuidado, porque algumas delas podem não ter o final feliz para o casal.     🥺 Academia de Vampiros**da Richelle Mead - as nossas protagonistas são Rose Hathaway, uma Dhampir, e a sua melhor amiga Lissa Dragomir, uma princesa e vampira Moroi. A função dos Dhampir é proteger os Moroi de uma terceira espécie de vampiro, os Strigoi. Rose e Lissa estão em fuga há 2 anos, desde que perceberam que não estavam seguras na Academia de São Vladimir, mas a sua sorte acaba e são apanhadas e levadas de volta apesar dos seus protestos. A coisas não mudaram assim tanto na academia e Rose tenta descobrir quem as perseguiu e se ainda podem estar à espera do momento certo para atacar.

    🥺 Odeio-te e Amo-te da Sally Thorne - neste romance Lucy e Josh, dois assistentes que trabalham para os co-CEOs de uma editora, incorporam a categoria grumpy x sunshine dos pés à cabeça. Os dias de ambos são passados a competir um com o outro e a fazer jogos ridículos para ver quem cede primeiro à pressão. Existe sempre alguma competição entre os funcionários de cada uma das editoras, mas Josh e Lucy levam isto a um novo nível diariamente. E as coisas só vão piorar, porque alguém vai ser promovido e nenhum suporta a ideia do outro ser o seu superior. No entanto, as picardias passam a ter uma carga diferente e as emoções começam a ficar ao rubro e demonstram que uma atração flui entre os dois.

    🥺 Amor Cruel da Colleen Hoover - este romance acompanha a relação entre Tate, uma enfermeira que vive em casa do irmão, Corbin, em São Francisco, e Miles, um piloto que vive no mesmo prédio. Apesar de não terem a melhor primeira interação, Miles e Corbin são amigos e Tate acaba a cruzar-se continuamente com ele e aos poucos a atração manifesta-se. Mas Miles não está interessado numa relação e Tate também diz estar focada na sua carreira, pelo que concordam em ter uma relação puramente física, sem envolver as suas emoções. Miles é muito reservado e não revela nada sobre o seu passado e Tate não está a conseguir manter a relação sem compromisso.

    🥺 Letras Escarlates da Anne Bishop - neste universo, existe uma espécie conhecida como os Outros que domina a terra. Estas criaturas possuem força e poderes sobrenaturais e não hesitam em caçar humanos quando assim o desejam. Os nossos protagonistas são Meg, uma profetisa de sangue, alguém que tem uma visão do futuro de cada vez que um corte é feito na sua pele, e Simon, um metamorfo que aceita contratar Meg para trabalhar para ele quando ela consegue escapar aos que a aprisionaram. Simon não entende, porque aceitou contratar Meg quando sente que algo nela não é normal. Ainda assim, quando descobre o que ela é, terá de tomar uma decisão: manter Meg sob a sua proteção ou entregá-la e manter os restantes da sua espécie em segurança.
