June may not have been our busiest reading month, but it reminded us something important. Reading isn't about numbers, it's about enjoying every story along the way.

This month we finished two books, started a new adventure in the Throne of Glass universe and already have some exciting reads waiting for us in July.

            📖 Every Summer After by Carley Fortune

One of our favourite books of the year so far. Emotional, nostalgic and full of unforgettable summer memories.

            🖤 Lighting Up a Black Heart by Maria BlueLight

A book we'd been reading for a little while and finally finished this month. It was such a nostalgic read! As kids who grew up watching Barbie in the Nutcracker, this book was absolutely adorable. Our full review is coming very soon! 📚

➡️ Carrying into July

            ⚔️ The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas

We're pretty much halfway throw it and absolutely loving returning to Celaena's world and discovering more about her past.

            🔥 Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins (André)

We're really excited to continue these stories alongside our July TBR.

Overall, June may have been a slower month, but we're incredibly happy with everything we read and can't wait to see what July brings.

Era um livro que já andávamos a ler há algum tempo e que finalmente conseguimos terminar este mês. Foi uma leitura incrivelmente nostálgica! Como crescemos a ver Barbie e o Quebra-Nozes, este livro conquistou-nos completamente. A nossa review completa chega muito em breve! 📚

Estamos praticamente a meio do livro e estamos a adorar regressar ao mundo da Celaena e descobrir mais sobre o seu passado.

Estamos muito entusiasmados por continuar estas histórias ao longo da nossa TBR de julho.

No geral, junho pode ter sido um mês mais calmo, mas estamos muito felizes com tudo o que lemos e mal podemos esperar para descobrir o que julho nos reserva.
