Voicemail for Isabelle was one of those films.

Without relying on spectacular twists or huge dramatic moments, it tells a deeply emotional story about love, loss, healing and the importance of the people we meet throughout our lives.

Zoey Deutch and Nick Robinson both deliver beautiful performances full of warmth and vulnerability. We were also incredibly impressed by the actress playing Isabelle, who leaves a remarkable emotional impact, despite her relatively limited screen time.

By the time the credits rolled, we both had tears in our eyes.

This isn't simply a romance or a drama.

If you're looking for an emotional film that balances humour, tenderness and heartbreak, we couldn't recommend this one more.
