October Wrap-Up: A Little Reading, A Lot of Feelings

(English)

October turned out to be a rather busy month, and our reading reflected that. Between work, everyday plans, and everything else happening around us, we didn't manage to get through as many books as we would have liked. But we still had some awesome reading moments along the way and some new favourite characters!

📚 Books Finished

☀️ Beach Read by Emily Henry

Our one completed book of the month, and what a lovely read it was! We absolutely loved following January and Gus, their chemistry, their vulnerability, and the way their story explores love, grief, healing, and second chances. It was emotional, funny, and full of those little moments that make you fall in love with a story.

Review coming soon!

📖 Currently Reading

🔥 Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas

We're getting close to chapter 30, and this book has been keeping us thoroughly entertained. Manon has quickly become one of our favourite parts of the story, and we're especially curious to see how all the different storylines will come together. There's still plenty ahead, and we're excited to keep reading!

🏚️ Home Before Dark by Riley Sager

We only started this one on Halloween night, so we're still very much at the beginning, with around three chapters read. It's too early to have any proper thoughts, but we're looking forward to seeing where this story takes us.

October wasn't quite the reading month we had imagined, but that's okay. Sometimes life gets busy, plans change, and reading has to find its place among everything else.

We're happy with the stories we've spent time with, and we're heading into November with a small but exciting reading list.

Here's to more pages, more surprises, and hopefully a little extra reading time! 🤎

🏚️ Home Before Dark do Riley Sager *
