Days by the river

Before classes started, we did one last minute trip. We spent the last 3 days enjoying the river in Luzim.

The trip didn't seem that great when we were driving last to Penafiel on Thursday, in the middle of rain, wind and cold. The afternoon and night were then spent relaxing inside the house with a nice pasta dinner to warm us up 🍝.

When we woke up the next day, we could not believe it. It was sunny and warm outside! ☀️ Perfect for a day by the river swimming and kayaking. We got home exhausted, but it was totally worth it. For 2 days we were able to enjoy ourselves and relax before classes start.

Antes das aulas começarem, fizemos uma viagem de última hora. Passamos os últimos 3 dias a desfrutar do rio em Luzim.

A viagem não parecia assim tão espetacular quando estávamos a conduzir em direção a Penafiel na quinta-feira, no meio de chuva, vento e frio. A tarde e a noite foram então passadas a relaxar dentro de casa com um jantar de esparguete para nos aquecer 🍝.

Quando acordamos no dia seguinte nem podíamos acreditar. Estava sol e calor lá fora! ☀️ Perfeito para um dia no rio a nadar e a andar de caiaque. Chegamos a casa exaustos, mas valeu completamente a pena. Durante 2 dias foi-nos possível desfrutar da companhia um do outro e relaxar antes do início das aulas.
