    💞 The Hating Game by Sally Thorne - the story begins by introducing us to our rivals, Lucy Hutton and Joshua Templeman, executive assistants to the co-CEOs of a publishing house, forced to deal with each other on a daily basis. The companies they work for have merged, so they're both on the same level and compete daily to prove they're better than the other, and the rivalry is at its peak in the office. Each victory, whether professional or personal, makes them feel a little better than the other. But things are about to escalate to a whole new level! Someone is going to be promoted and there's only room for one of them! Tensions between the two are running high, but something else seems to be playing on Lucy and Josh's minds and maybe hatred is not the only thing they feel for each other...

    💞 The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas - our main character Catalina 'Lina' Martín works in New York and leads a fast-paced professional life full of challenges. However, her biggest challenge at the moment is personal: her sister's wedding is coming up and she needs a chaperone. When she left Spain, they didn't have her in the best light and she can't afford to let them feel sorry for her. Lina is going to be maid of honour at her sister's wedding and it's imperative that she takes a chaperone and the only volunteer is Aaron Blackford, an ex-athlete from Seattle who works with her and whom she nicknamed Robot. The trip to Spain doesn't come without its challenges and Aaron does everything he can to appear completely in love with Lina. Perhaps he's even pretending a little too well.

    💞 A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas - there's nothing more enemies to lovers than a retelling of Beauty and the Beast! Feyre is a human hunter who goes into the woods to hunt and feed her family. During a hunt, her prey is about to be attacked by a huge wolf. Feyre knows that there is a possibility that the wolf is a Fae and that killing one of them could have consequences, but the decision is made. Her punishment for killing one of them is to be taken back to their kingdom. Feyre longs to escape and to return to her family more than anything. But the days go by and she begins to wonder if everything she has heard about the Fae is true and if they all are bloodthirsty creatures hunting for humans.

    💞 A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas - as this is the second book in A Court of Thorns and Roses series, we can't reveal anything without giving away spoilers from the first book, but we guarantee that this one is well worth it!

    💞 Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen - in rural England, at the beginning of the 19th century, the Bennet family discovers that a single young gentleman with a considerable fortune will soon be arriving in the area. There are high hopes that the eldest daughter, Jane Bennet, will capture the attentions of this young man, Mr Bingley. The second Bennet sister, Elizabeth, although happy for her sister, is confronted with the gentleman's close friend, Mr Darcy. Elizabeth is proud and strong-willed. Mr Darcy is displeased with her origins. Their relationship is marked by moments of prejudice, attraction, passion and anger.
