📚 Book review: A Court of Frost and Starlight 📚

    Hello followers! 🤗 We're back with another mini review of a book by Sarah J. Maas. This time it is the novella Court of Ice and Stars. If you haven't read the previous books, beware, there are spoilers for the conclusion of the first trilogy! 😶

    Are you ready? Let's get started! 

    The book follows the events after the end of Court of Wings and Ruin, with Feyre, Rhys and their friends dealing with the aftermath of the final battle and working to rebuild the Night Court and the city of Velaris, as well as strengthening the bonds between the Courts and maintaining friendly relations between them. Most of the events revolve around the preparations for the Winter Solstice celebrations and the personal struggles of the characters as they try to recover from the traumas of the past.

    All in all, the book is a quick and very relaxed read. The battles in this book have much more to do with mental issues and the more or less correct way in which each person deals with the regret of everything they've lost in order to win against Hybern. It is a perfect read for the colder weather, and we highly recommend that you don't miss this novella once you've finished Court of Wings and Ruin.

    We have decided to give this book 3.75⭐. The story itself is nice, but as it lacks some of the action we're used to in this universe, it can be a bit boring for fans. Still, it's a nice book to read during a calm day and there are some very sweet moments between the characters, apart from Rhys and Feyre. Have you read this novella yet?     Olá seguidores! 🤗 Estamos de volta com mais uma mini review de um livro da Sarah J. Maas. Desta vez, a novella Corte de Gelo e Estrelas. Se não leram os livros anteriores, tenham cuidado, porque vão existir spoilers sobre a conclusão da trilogia inicial! 😶

    O livro segue os acontecimentos após o final de Corte de Asas e Ruína com a Feyre, o Rhys e seus amigos enquanto estes lidam com as repercussões do que aconteceu na batalha final e trabalham para reconstruir a Corte da Noite e a cidade de Velaris, bem como fortalecer os laços entre as Cortes e manter relações de amizade entre as mesmas. Boa parte dos acontecimentos giram à volta da preparação das celebrações do Solstício de Inverno e nas lutas pessoais das personagens enquanto tentam recuperar dos traumas do passado.

    No geral, o livro é uma leitura rápida e muito relaxada. As batalhas neste são muito mais ligadas a questões mentais e à forma mais ou menos correta como cada um lida com o pesar de tudo aquilo que perderam para vencer contra Hybern. É uma leitura perfeita para o tempo mais frio e recomendamos muito que não deixem de lado esta novella depois de concluírem Corte de Asas e Ruína.

    Decidimos dar ao livro 3.75⭐. A história em si é gira, mas como falta um pouco aquela ação a que estamos habituados neste universo, pode ser um bocadinho aborrecido para os fãs. Ainda assim o livro é giro para ler num dia sossegado e tem momentos muito fofos entre as personagens além do Rhys e da Feyre. Já leram esta novella? O que acharam da história? 😊
