📚 Mini book haul 📚

    Hello, everyone!☀️ How are you this Sunday? Do you have to work or are you at home? It's a mix here, with André studying for finals and myself working on some content and on cleaning the house. But I finally found time to open a wook order that has been a long time coming: the books I ordered with the birthday voucher I received in my account!😊

    This breaks our recent book buying ban that lasted a total of 8 months! 🎉 And as you can see, we only bought 2 books! One because it had been on our wishlist for a long time and the other to complete a series of which we were missing a few books.

   The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, which we had our eye on for a long time! We loved watching booktube vlogs to relax and without a doubt this book has been mentioned for years and our curiosity only grew so we finally bought it and added it to our magnificent (and intimidating) TBR! As far as we know, the plot involves a circus that mysteriously appears and disappears without a trace and that there is a romance between two of the participants.

    Night Star by Alyson Nöel is part of a series that I started reading as a teenager, but never finished. Now that for some reason I feel motivated to do so, I've started buying the books when I find them on discount (we even found one in a supermarket for 5 euros! What a bargain!) and we had the idea of reading the whole series together very soon! The first book follows a young girl who survived a car crash in which her parents and sister died. Since then, Ever has been able to see colourful auras around people, being able to interpret and perceive each person's most genuine feelings.

    Olá pessoal!☀️ Como estão neste dmingo? Têm de trabalhar ou estão por casa? Aqui é um mix, com o André a estudar para um exame e eu a trabalhar em conteúdo e a limpar a casa. Mas finalmente arranjei tempo para abrir uma encomenda da wook que já chegou a algum tempo: os livros que encomendei com o vale de aniversário que recebi na minha conta!😊

    Quebramos assim a nossa recente book buying ban que durou um total de 8 meses! 🎉 E como podem ver, compramos apenas 2 livrinhos! Um, porque estava na nossa wishlist há muito tempo e o outro que é para completar uma saga da qual nos faltam alguns livros.

   O Circo da Noite da Erin Morgenstern, já estava há muito tempo debaixo de olho! Adorámos ver vlogs do booktube para relaxar e sem dúvida que este livro é mencionado há anos e a nossa curiosidade só foi aumentando, pelo que finalmente o compramos e acrescentamos à nossa magnífica (e intimidante) TBR! Pelo que sabemos, o plot envolve um circo que surge misteriosamente e que desaparece sem deixar rasto e que há um romance entre dois dos participantes.

    Estrela da Noite da Alyson Nöel, faz parte de uma saga que eu comecei a ler em adolescente, mas que nunca terminei. Agora que por alguma razão sinto a motivação de o fazer, comecei a comprar os livros quando os encontrava em desconto (chegamos mesmo a encontrar um num supermercado por 5 euros! Que pechincha!) e em principio, vamos ler a saga completa em conjunto muito em breve! O primeiro livro acompanha uma jovem que sobreviveu ao acidente de carro onde os pais e a irmã morreram. Desde então, Ever, é capaz de ver auras coloridas em volta das pessoas, sendo capaz de interpretar e perceber os sentimentos mais genuínos de cada um.
